Let me help you figure out what’s going on!
I work with people who are struggling in their relationships- struggling to save them or struggling to end them. I know so well what it’s like to be in the spinning mess of relational confusion and agony. Is it me? Is it them? Can this get better? Am I spinning my wheels? What about the kids? What about my life?! Help! That’s what I’m here for, to help you find your answers so you can go back to being the present, confident, happy-to-be-alive person you are meant to be. You can come in alone or with your partner, either way, great change will be made.
Sitting with me will be like being with a friend- a warm, curious, competent friend. I ask a lot of questions and offer reflections that will encourage your growth. Humor is key and there will probably be laughing along with the crying. Overall, expect feel challenged and cared for while you:
- Understand your feelings and what they are telling you.
- Learn to communicate in a way that gets you heard.
- Gain clarity and make changes.
- Improve relationships with self and others.
- Build a life that fits.
Besides my work, I also love spending time with my two daughters, baking muffins, hanging out at the beach, and watching reality TV dating shows (I can explain!) Before I was a therapist I was a graphic designer in the corporate world and still love to exercise my creative streak.
Office or video sessions available.
I received my MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
Previously, I worked with couples at the Love Therapy Center, San Francisco, in addition to 5 years working as a High School Counselor and Psycho-Educator.
I have spent two decades studying and analyzing intimate adult relationships. I am skilled and committed to helping people make lasting positive change.
My work is informed by Attachment theory, EFT, CBT, Depth Psychology, Spirituality, EMDR, Polyvagal theory, and Internal Family Systems.
